Dear Customers, Lovers of precious stones, and Admirers of nature
Allow us to take this opportunity to introduce you to the GEOSVĚT (GEOWORLD) project, the origins of which can be attributed to the fascination the creators have with precious stones, minerals, and fossils.
We would like to act as a link between you and the never-ending diversity of the world, which has attracted people with its beauty and mystery since the beginning of time and which is an inherent part of their cultural heritage in a variety of forms.
It is our aim to create a place for you that will satisfy the demands of the general public and the expert public alike and which will allow people that share a common interest to come together.
Our project consists of three parts – a shop, a museum, and a gallery.
We plan to open the museum and gallery in 2006, but the shop is already open for visitors.

Where the Sun Sets in the Northwest
It's a beautiful Sunday morning in July and we, full of expectation of coming two weeks of active rest (which surprisingly will be the collecting of minerals), are setting out with a kit-bags from Geosvět company's store at Londýnská St. down the empty Prague streets to the Cínovec border crossing. The team configuration of the expedition is strong - Jirka, Pavel (collecting minerals and prospecting), Honza (documentation) and Milda (administrative support). Our main destination is quite over 2000 km (1250 miles) far away - close below the Arctic Circle in Norway.

WHY ARE PRECIOUS STONES PRECIOUS
An exhibition WHY ARE PRECIOUS STONES PRECIOUS was opened in an entrance hall of our new shop. We will subsequently introduce various Precious Stones along with comprehensive information about the particular Stones.
